Here it Is! On October 2nd, the schedule for the 9th annual Frisco Classic was announced with 2 returning teams in Nebraska who competed in 2017 and 2019, and Sam Houston who competed in 2019. The Classic will also feature Big 12 School Kansas State and for the first time, SEC powerhouse and 2023 NCAA Champions LSU will be in the tournament. All 4 teams were also ranked in the top 80 last year in the official NCAA D1 Baseball Ranks LSU (15) Nebraska (29) Kansas State (37) and Sam Houston (78)
It’ll be a great opportunity to watch some great baseball and see the next big leaguers playing right before your eyes. All four schools have produced current MLB Talent whether it be Nebraska and Matt Waldron, Sam Houston and Colton Cowser, Kansas State, and Jordan Wicks, LSU Paul Skenes, and many many more. You’re sure to see some great Collegiate Baseball programs and players go head to head at the home of the Frisco Roughriders.
Day 1 – February 28th
2 pm : LSU vs Kansas State
6 pm : Nebraska vs Sam Houston
Day 2 – March 1st
12 pm : Kansas State vs Sam Houston
4 pm : LSU vs Nebraska
Day 3 – March 2nd
12 pm : Kansas State vs Nebraska
4 pm : Sam Houston vs LSU
