The Frisco RoughRiders have started announcing their 2026 promotional schedule, and it is hitting big on nostalgia. From throwback jerseys to unique bobbleheads, the Riders are proving once again why they are among the best in minor league baseball at creating a fan experience.
The 2026 Throwback Sunday Series
The centerpiece of the season is a three-part throwback series honoring franchise icons. While the Elvis Andrus and Ian Kinsler bobbleheads are designed to connect at the base, the series concludes with a special Chris Davis bobble card.

Backyard Baseball & Space Jam
May 22: Backyard Baseball Night – Presented by GDS Wealth Management, the Riders will take the field as the Melonheads to face the San Antonio Missions (Padres). This Healthcare Heroes night includes a kids sleeveless jersey giveaway and post-game fireworks.
July 3: Stars and Stripes weekend - As part of Stars and Stripes weekend there is a Wyatt Langford "Florida Man" bobblehead giveaway. Langford attended the University of Florida. You can guarantee your bobblehead with a $20 add-on.
Stars and Stripes weekend will feature fireworks after every game.
July 19: Space Jam Night – Celebrating the 30th edition of Space Jam as they take on the Tulsa Drillers (Dodgers). A special jersey pack is available exclusively through a ticket pack purchase. Stick around for the fireworks presented by Globe Life.
Returning Favorites & Alternate Identities
The 2026 season brings back the weekly staples that make Riders Field the place to be:
- Thirsty Thursdays
- Fireworks Fridays
- Saturdays: Kids Run the Bases (Raising Cane’s)
- Sundays: Kids Sunday Funday (Raising Cane’s)
We will also see the return of the team's popular alternate identities, including the Corny Dogs, Quesos de Frisco, and the Dallas Black Giants. Co-branded nights with local sports teams will also return.

My Wishlist
This is a fantastic slate so far, but there is one thing I’d love to see: Dollar Hot Dog Night. There's nothing like a cheap dog at the ballpark to make it feel like the good old days.
