In 68 Home Games, the Frisco Roughriders pulled in over 371,149 fans this year averaging 5,455 fans per game, and were at the top of the 10 Texas League teams. The Tulsa Drillers were number 2 with 341,751 fans for the 2024 season.
Frisco is back on top for the first time since 2019 – remember there was no 2020 season. The RoughRiders topped attendance for 15 consecutive seasons. It was just the Texas League, it all all of Double-A baseball.
From collaborations with Local teams such as the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars to Rangers stars such as Josh Jung, Max Scherzer, and Jacob deGrom making rehab starts, their high-praise young talent rolling through on their journey to the big leagues such as Kumar Rocker. The Roughriders had many ways to pull in fans over the 2024 season, and the Roughriders coming out on top shows it all paid off. Of course, winning also plays a part and Frisco put together their best season-ever winning percentage wise(.609)
Frisco also has one of the more unique ballpark experiences with their lazy river in right field joining the Diamondbacks to feature a water option for fans during baseball games. The cozy Double-A park is definitely a hot spot in the rising Frisco area and is for sure to remain that way for years to come.
I can’t wait to see everyone back for 2025 and to see even more show out for the Roughriders and their one-of-a-kind Baseball experience.
