Tonight the Frisco RoughRiders got great relief pitching from four pitchers who gave up 6 hits after starter Seth Nordlin went 4 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts.
Tyler Thomas went 1.1 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, and 1 strikeout followed by Tai Tiedemann who went 1 inning, 1 unearned run, 1 walk.
While the RoughRiders were getting great pitching the offense was lead by Sandro Fabian who went 3-for-4 with his 12th home run of the season in the bottom of the 3rd. It was a 3 run shot giving the RoughRiders a early 3-0 lead.
Josh Stowers added on to the lead with a 2-run triple followed by a Aaron Zavala RBI single to bring in Josh Stowers.
Frisco had a 6-0 lead until the 6th inning.
Grant Wolfram (W, 3-2) went 1.2 innings 1 hit. Grant was replaced by Grant Anderson who finished off the night by going 1 inning 2 hits 2 strikeouts.
Luisangel Acuña got his 1st Double-A hit in his 1st game. It was a single to right field in the bottom of the 2nd. He is 20 years old.
