The Frisco RoughRiders season comes down to their final game. They won 5-3 over the Amarillo Sod Poodles thanks to a timely rally including a fielding error and moved to 64-54 on the season. Right-hander Ronny Henriquez started on the mound for the RoughRiders against rifht-hander Ryne Nelson for the Sod Poodles. RoughRiders win their 60th game of the season
A crowd of 5,278 filled the seats at Riders Field and watched the Frisco RoughRiders win their 60th game of the season. They won 6-3 over the San Antonio Missions and they needed this to avoid a season-high five-game losing streak. The RoughRiders handed the ball to right-hander Noah Bremer (4-3, 4.63) and he pitched five innings. He allowed two-runs, one earned on five hits, three walks and three strikeouts. The Frisco RoughRiders now have what we call a win streak. It's a small two-game streak but we'll take it, especially with 16-games left and post-season implications on the line. We knew the losing streak wouldn't last much longer. The RoughRiders are back in the win column after losing 3-games in a row. They won by a final of 8-0 over the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). They move to 37-20 on the season while the Travelers move to 29-27. On the mound Right-hander Noah Bremer, was just activated from the IL and made his 1st start of the season, replacing Cole Winn who was originally scheduled to pitch.
