
Get ready for some summer nights filled with baseball excitement, Abilene! The city is welcoming its very own summer baseball team, the Abilene Flying Bison. They will take take the field on May 23rd for the start of their inaugural season in the Mid-America League.
Here's the scoop on the Flying Bison
- The Mid-America League features six teams across Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri. The Flying Bison will play a 68-game schedule, with 34 home games at Walt Driggers Field on the campus of McMurry University.
- Each team will have rosters that include up to 40 players.
- Expect first pitch around 7:30 pm to beat the summer heat!
- Season and Tickets: Mark your calendars for a May kickoff. The Flying Bison are offering season tickets (Soaring Season Tickets) for $360 per person and a 10-Ticket Takeoff Package for $81. Single game tickets will be available soon!
