The Texas Rangers have selected Kumar Rocker with their 1st round pick (3rd overall) of the 2022 MLB Draft.
In selecting Kumar Rocker, the Rangers reunite him with Vanderbilt teammate Jack Leiter, whom the Rangers selected with their 2nd overall pick in 2021.
Kumar definitely has solid numbers:

Rocker's 2021 stats with Vanderbilt: 14-4 win-loss record, 2.73era, 179so, 39bb, 122ip.
Rocker's 2022 stats with Tri-City: 1-0 record, 1.35era, 32so, 4bb, 20ip.
The concern with Rocker is his health. The Mets ultimately didn't sign him due to concern over his arm. A couple of weeks ago it was reported that Rocker had surgery on his right shoulder in September of 2021.
