Rocker looks great in Rehab Start in Frisco

On Friday night, Kumar Rocker made a Rehab outing to get his shoulder ready to reenter the Rangers blazing Starting Rotation.
Through 2 Innings Rocker was sitting at 98 on his Fastball and has only allowed a single hit. Rocker was relying heavily on his fastball to care for his shoulder while continuing to mix in his Slider which was steadily in the upper 80’s.
In the 3rd Rocker would continue to pepper the zone notching another Strikeout for his outing. Rocker only allowed 2 hits in his 3 innings of work looking real sharp and confident in his arm. He mixed his pitches well when needed and really only had one decently hit ball against him. Unsure of when he’ll be up with the big club again but the hope is for Rocker to return to his end of year form from last year and be a pivotal part of the Rangers rotation this year.
Rocker finished at 34 pitches and threw 23 of them for Strikes, a very strong outing for Kumar.
In the bottom of the 4th Inning, Josh Hatcher broke the 0-0 tie with an Oppo Taco Home Run to the Home Run Terrace in left field continuing his solid 2025 Campaign.
Frisco’s Defense would get some Highlights in Topped by Cam Cauley’s stellar play at Shortstop throwing across his body Jeter Style to get the runner.
In the Bottom of the 6fh the Offense would once again get a light under it as the Roughriders would smack 3 straight singles to make it a 2-0 Ballgame when Abimelec Ortiz Singled in Moller. Keyber Rodriguez would then hit a dribbler to the pitcher but the ball was thrown away at the plate allowing Zavala to score making it 3-0. Ortiz would advance to 3rd and Rodriguez would reach second thanks to the Error.
Ben Anderson was a gem out of the bullpen tonight for the Roughriders in relief of Kumar Rocker Tonight. His Final Line on the night was 5.1 IP , 2H, 0R, 4BB, 3K allowing Frisco to only use 3 pitchers on a night where their Starting Pitcher could only go so far.
Travis MacGregor would come on for the final 2 outs with a runner on 2nd getting Angeles to hit a shallow pop fly to right and then got Junior Perez to go down swinging to end the ballgame.
