RoughRiders lose 2-1 on Tuesday in pitchers duel

The RoughRiders are back home currently, playing a six-game series against the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). Right-hander Zak Kent toed the rubber for the RoughRiders.

Kent matched a season-high 5.1 innings by a RoughRiders starter. He allowed two runs on four hits, four walks and two strikeouts while throwing 82 pitches- 42 for strikes.

Frisco’s lone-run came in the bottom of the 1st inning from an RBI-single of the bat of Dustin Harris.

Over his last 5 games….Dustin Harris has a line of:

.381/.435/.619/1.054 with a HR and 6 RBI.

Unfortunately the RoughRiders weren’t able to bring any additionsl runs across the plate. Right-hander, Levi Stoudt is the Mariners # 7 ranked prospect. In his six innings, he only allowed the one run on four hits and five strikeouts.

The RoughRiders bullpen came in a pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, starting with Chase Lee and his scoreless 2/3 of an inning.

Grant Anderson (2.03) pitched two scoreless, walking two and striking out one.

Lucas Jacobsen (1.04) pitched the final inning.
