Starting pitcher Cole Winn has been promoted to AAA Round Rock and is starting for the Express as we speak. Third baseman Davis Wendzel and Catcher Sam Huff were also promoted after spending the season in Frisco with some rehab games in Arizona sprinkled in. Cole Winn (2.50) opened for the Frisco RoughRiders after being activated from the Developmental List. He did his thing and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit, one walk and one strikeout. The Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of, you guessed it....the St Louis Cardinals are in town at Riders Field to start a new six-game series against the Frisco RoughRiders. They bring along their 22-38 record which is good for last place (5th) in the Double-A Central North. They have a 6-4 record in the their last 10-games with a two-game losing streak. The RoughRiders still maintain their hold on first place but they're on the wrong end of a streak with a three-game losing streak.
