Rangers Third Week of Spring Training Recap
March 2nd- Sunday morning we were told that Wyatt Langford is “about ready to go”, and he’s been swinging in the cages and should be playing within a few days. Today's spring training game was against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jon Gray started on the bump this game. Corey Seager got the Rangers on the board in this one with a 2 run home run in the 3rd inning. Then in the bottom of the 4th Joc Pederson led off the inning with a double, and after an Adolis Garcia fly out Jake Burger hit a 2 run

The ranking I'm thinking took a little hit when Alejandro Rosario needed to get elbow surgery. Here is what MLB Pipeline said in the article," While injuries dropped the Rangers from World Series champions in 2023 t

February 23rd- Early Sunday morning we were hit with the unfortunate news that one Rangers top pitching prospect in the system also in all of baseball in Alejandro Rosario needs elbow surgery, and will miss the 2025 season. Here is a quote from Chris Young, " It's likely UCL, I don't want to officially say, but yeah, it's elbow and will probably require Tommy John." Texas Rangers Roster Projection Volume 1
The 2025 season for the Texas Rangers is still in its infancy stages with just over a week completed in spring training but expectations are high and for good reason. The veteran core of this team is as experienced and talented as just about any Rangers team in history and several youngsters are poised to build on promising beginnings to their career. The Rangers opened camp with 65 guys, the standard 40 man roster and 25 non-roster invitees, but cuts are coming in the near future and over the n
Rangers Options at the Closer Position
With under three weeks until pitchers and catchers report for spring training the Rangers are roughly 6 million dollars before the luxury tax according to Roster Resource, meaning they are likely done doing any major signings so they probably won't sign a closer. However, President of Baseball Operations Chris Young has said they will stay open minded and will make a move if it makes the team better. Going into the offseason the Rangers addressed that they were not going to go over the luxury ta
How did the Rangers do in Keith Law's Top 100 Prospects?
At 7:20am this morning The Athletic posted an article by Keith Law about his top 100 prospects in baseball. Law has covered the sport since 2006 and prior to that was a special assistant to the general manager for the Toronto Blue Jays. With MLB Pipeline and Baseball America's top 100 lets see how the Rangers faired for Law's top 100 prospects Sebastian Walcott He ranked Walcott as the number 2 prospect in all of baseball. It is safe to say he is very high on Walcott as are all of Ranger fans.
When to expect Sebastian Walcott's MLB Debut
The Rangers might have another superstar on their hands. Sebastian Walcott is the most hyped up prospect since... Wyatt Langford. While yes, it hasn't been a long time since a mega prospect burst onto the scene, Walcott has something that sets him apart from Langford. The fact that is he only 18 years old. Walcott will turn 19 before the minor league season starts, but what he has done so far is unbelievable. When the Rangers signed him in 2023 for $3.2 million, there were scouts saying that h
