Rangers lose to the Athletics by a touchdown, 10-3

Losing has been a common theme recently for our Texas Rangers. You can't blame it all on the pitching. The blame can easily be spread to the defense and we'll hand some of it to the offense as well. The Rangers lose to the Athletics by a final of 10-3 and are now 11-18 on the season. The Athletics scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to effectively end the hopes of the Rangers trying to claw their way back. At that point the Rangers had no fight in them. Well touch on this in a bit but the star o

Derek Dietrich homers, Gibson gets 1st win

Derek Dietrich homers and Kyle Gibson gets his first win of the year as the Rangers beat the Rockies by a final of 6-4 as they extend their winning streak to a new season-high of 4-games. The Rangers Derek Dietrich wants to win and he's had a helping hand or bat in every game he's played. His 3-run home run was key and provided needed insurance runs for the Rangers. Chirinos has noticeably been out of the line-up for a couple of games. In 11 games, Chirinos has batted .129 with 2 RBI,  5 walks and 10 strikeouts. Trevino had long been thought of as the Rangers catcher of the future. That's still not out of reach, although Sam Huff might have something to say ab

Rangers call up multiple Prospects including clase

The Texas Rangers made quite a bit of moves today that I consider to be the first wave of the future. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is back from Double-A. Catcher, Jose Trevino has been promoted from Triple-A Nashville as well as Scott Heineman. Last but not least, Emmanuel Clase was promoted from Double-A Frisco. I fully expect more moves to come, if not now, in September for the call-ups. We?ll likely see Palumbo again and Brock Burke will make his debut as well I expect. We should see a number of infie
