Cam Cauley’s 2 HRs Not Enough as Missions Walk Off RoughRiders
With a postseason berth on the line, the Frisco RoughRiders got the help they needed from the Drillers when the Tulsa Drillers topped the Midland RockHounds. A win Saturday night and Sunday would have crowned Frisco the Texas League South Division’s first-half champs. But the San Antonio Missions had other plans, walking off the RoughRiders 3-2 in a gut-wrenching finish at Nelson Wolff Stadium. If the Missions win tonight - they take the first-half title. If the RoughRiders win - the Midland R

Rangers Announce July Minor League Award Winners
Blaine Crim - Player of the Month The 27-year-old 1st basemen really found his swing in July slashing a whopping .453/.561/.656. Going up to bat and getting on base better than once every 2 at bats is an astonishing stat in today’s game. He also added in 9 XBH driving in 15 along the way. Another stat to highlight is that he walked 17 times and only struck out 11. If the bat stays hot in August I wouldn’t be shocked if we see him as a September call-up this year. Mitch Bratt - Starter of the M

In the inaugural Spring Breakout event in Surprise, Arizona, under the 71-degree sunny sky, the Texas Rangers' top prospects took the field against the Cincinnati Reds' prospects. Despite the Rangers falling short with a 4-1 loss in this seven-inning showcase, the game, which lasted just 1 hour and 48 minutes, left many positive takeaways, especially from the mound and at the plate.
