Frisco, TX - Ricky Vanasco was promoted from the High-A Hickory Crawdads to the Frisco RoughRiders on Friday September 9th. He got the starting nod as the RoughRiders continue their pursuit of a post-season spot. It also happened to be the RoughRiders last home-game of the season. Saguaros continue their dominance with walk-off win

The Surprise Saguaros have dominated the Arizona Fall League so far. The won in walk-off fashion against the Rafters by a final of 8-7 and move to 10-3. Royals pitching prospect, Asa Lacy started for the Saguaros. The left-hander tossed three scoreless innings, giving up two hits, two walks and striking out five batters. Ricky Vanasco scheduled for Tommy John surgery on Monday

Tommy John surgery is something that seems to be a common thing for Ranger fans to hear in recent years. Right-hander Ricky Vanasco, one of our favorite Rangers pitching prospects and is scheduled to have Tommy John surgery on Monday morning. Ricky has been at the alternate training site since being added to the 60-man player pool. Vanasco has risen up the Rangers prospect rankings in the system over the last year. Top Rangers pitching prospects Cole Winn & Ricky Vanasco added to 60 man

The Texas Rangers have added two of their top pitching prospects to their 60-man player pool. They added right-handers Cole Winn and Ricky Vanasco and assigned them to the alternate training site. Cole Winn MLB currently has Cole Winn listed as the Rangers # 4 ranked prospect - the highest among the pitching prospects. Winn is still very young at just 20 years old. 2019 Spokane Indians win season Opener 9-1

The Spokane Indians season started today, Friday June 14th. They are the short season Single-A affiliate of our Texas Rangers. Their 2019 roster was just recently released and there are 6 players that returned from the 2018 season. They opened the season in Vancouver against the Vancouver Canadians at Scotiabank Field.
