Being a RoughRiders Fan I’m excited about the news that Justin Foscue (#5) and Dustin Harris (#7) are coming to Frisco along with two other players. The RoughRiders lost by a final of 5-1 to the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). The RoughRiders are on the wrong side of a streak, as this is their third loss in a row. Their record is 36-20 and they still have a commanding 8.5 game lead over the 2nd place San Antonio Missions. I don't say that with too much confidence as that lead can disappear quickly with 64 more games to play this season. This RoughRiders won by a final of 3-1 over the Midland RockHounds (Athletics). With this win they have a team record of 11-wins in a row and a crowd of 2,523 was on hand to witness it. Something that no other team has done since the RoughRiders moved to Frisco in 2003. The previous record was 10 games in a row set in 2014 and tied yesterday June 29th. Rangers acquire right-hander Stephen Villines from the Mets

The Rangers have completed their trade with the Mets that sent Ariel Jurado for a player to be named later and cash. The Rangers recieved right-hander Stephen Villines. Villines was drafted by the Mets in the 10th round of the 2017 draft. In his three minor league seasons, he has a 10-7 record with a 2.67 earned run average. Last year, he spent time in Double-A and Triple-A. In Double-A,  he pitched 45 innings and had a 1.20 earned run average with a 1.067 WHIP. He struggled in Triple-A with t
