Rangers parting ways with pitching coach Julio Rangel
Yesterday, just as the Dodgers and Padres were about to square off in the first game of the NLDS at Globe Life Field, it was announced per the beats the Rangers will not bring back pitching coach Julio Rangel next to season. Not that he can take all of the blame but in the two seasons that Rangel was the pitching coach, the staff showed very little improvement. As a team the pitching staff had an era of 5.06 in 2019 and this year the era was 5.02. Granted there were 102 less games played this y

Rangers win as Chuck Morgan announces 3,000th consecutive game
Chuck Morgan reached a special milestone tonight. He announced his 3,000th consecutive game which is an amazing accomplishment. His signature "It's baseball time in Texas", will never get old. How lucky are we to have a special group in Chuck Morgan but also Eric Nadel? Some would also include Tom Grieve in that group as well. Congratulations Chuck! The Texas Rangers line-up had a rough start against Astros righty Lance McCullers Jr. The way the game started, I wouldn't have predicted the final

Youngster Update 9/23/2020
With five games left in the regular season I thought we'd check in on how some of our younger guys are doing. Wes Benjamin- This is Benjamin's first major league start. He does have 84 career minor league starts and has followed an opener this season. Got his first out on the second pitch of the game.
