Here is an article listing some of the longest home runs hit at Riders Field in 2022. Fans will be excited to see some of their favorite prospects hitting some long balls out of the park.

This is not an official list of the longest home runs at Riders Field, but rather a fun and informative collection of the longest home runs that we kept up with at The Prospect Times. I was in the press box for some of these and had access to trackman data, while others I heard about on the broadcast. Either way, it’s always fun to look back at some of the monster home runs that have been hit by the RoughRiders at Riders Field!

Trey Hair, May 17 vs. Corpus Christi Hooks

  • 420 feet to center field.
  • It was his 5th home run of the season.
  • It was a solo home run in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
  • He smacked it off Corpus’ starter Jaime Melendez (0-2, 7.06) on an 0-1 count.
  • The RoughRiders (12-7) went on to win 13-7.

Trey Hair, May 5th vs. Arkansas Travelers

  • 424 feet to right field.
  • It was his 1st home run of the season.
  • It was a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 7th.
  • He hit it off Arkansas’ reliever David Ellingson (7.71)
  • The RoughRiders (15-9) went on to win 6-1.

Dustin Harris, May 29th vs. San Antonio Missions

  • 433 feet to center field.
  • It was his 8th home run of the season.
  • It was a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 5th.
  • He hit it off Michael Baez on a 2-2 count.
  • The RoughRiders (25-20) won 9-7.

Ezequiel Duran, April 23rd vs. Northwest Arkansas Naturals

  • 437 feet to center field.
  • It was his 1st home run of the season.
  • It was a solo shot hit in the bottom of the 9th.
  • He hit it off Zach Willeman on a 1-0 count.
  • The RoughRiders (10-4) lost 12-4.

Duran, the doubles machine, hit 24 doubles while in Double-A Frisco.

Dustin Harris, May 19th vs. Corpus Christi Hooks

  • 444 feet to right center field.
  • It was his 5th home run of the season.
  • It was a solo shot.
  • He hit it off Jose Bravo (4.82) on a 1-1 count.
  • The RoughRiders (20-16) lost 9-5.

Jonathan Ornelas, August 14th vs. San Antonio Missions

  • 451 feet with an exit velocity of 109 off the bat.
  • It was his 13th home run of the season.
  • It was a solo shot in the bottom of the 4th.
  • He hit it off Felix Minjarez (7.00) on a 0-1 count.
  • The RoughRiders lost (58-50) lost 7-5.

Jonathan Ornelas, April 24th vs. Northwest Arkansas Naturals

  • 452 feet to left field.
  • It was his 1st home run of the season.
  • A solo shot to lead off the bottom of the 1st.
  • He hit it off Alec Marsh (6.17) on a 2-0 count.
  • The RoughRiders (10-5) lost 4-3.

Diosbel Arias, April 21st vs. Northwest Arkansas Naturals

  • 454 feet to left field.
  • It was his 1st home run of the season. He hit two home runs in this game.
  • This one was a solo home run in the bottom of the 3rd. His 2nd home run of the game was a 2-run shot in the bottom of the 7th.
  • He hit it off Anthony Veneziano (18.47) on the first pitch he saw.
  • The RoughRiders (10-2) won 12-2.
