How Banana Ball works
1. Win the inning, get the point. The team that scores more runs in an inning gets one point. Most points wins.
2. Two-hour time limit. No new inning starts after two hours.
3. No stepping out. A batter who steps out of the box is charged a strike.
4. No bunting. A batter who bunts is ejected.
5. Batters can steal first. On any pitch, including a passed ball or wild pitch, the batter can run for first.
6. No walks. On ball four the batter sprints, and every fielder has to touch the ball before he can be put out.
7. No mound visits. Coaches, catchers and other players can't visit the mound.
8. Fan catch is an out. If a fan cleanly catches a foul ball, it's an out.
9. Showdown tiebreaker. A game tied when time runs out is settled with tiebreaker rounds.
10. Challenges. Each team gets one challenge, and the fans get one too.
11. Golden batter. Once a game, a team can send any hitter to the plate out of order.
