Who better to start a day game for the Rangers alternate site than Day Game Wes Benjamin? The left-hander threw four shutout innings, allowing only one hit, one walk and racking up four strikeouts. He pitched up to his nickname and earned the win.
Right-hander Jason Bahr, pitched 3.2 innings. He allowed two runs on four hits, two walks and one strikeout.
Jimmy Herget pitched one-third of an inning and struckout the batter he faced.
Right hander Luis Ortiz made his first appearance for the Alternate site. He pitched two-thirds of an inning allowing a hit, walking one and striking out one.
Jake Lemoine pitched one-third of an inning. Michael Matuella closed things out for the Rangers. He allowed one run on one hit, one walk and one strikeout.

The Rangers had four players with multi-hit games: Delino DeShields, Elier Hernandez, Curtis Terry and Carl Chester. Curtis Terry and Frainyer Chavez had the RBI for the Rangers at two a piece.
The hot bat of Yonny Hernandez was cooled down today as he went 0 for 4.
The final was 4-3 Rangers in the scheduled 10 inning game. The Rangers are now 5-3-1 in Alternate site games.
