Last time the RoughRiders faced the Sod Poodles was just August 8-11 and the RoughRiders swept all 4 games in that series. After that series, the RoughRiders went down to Corpus Christi to play a 4-game series against the Hooks. That series didn’t go as planned as they were swept by the Hooks.

The Sod Poodles are still hanging onto 1st place in the Division with a record of 31-22 They lead the Corpus Christi Hooks by 4 games and the RoughRiders by 5 1/3 games with 13 games until elimination at the time I am writing this. The Midland RockHounds have passed the RoughRiders in the standings as well and they are 26-27.
