Jason Bahr had a perfect game going in Amarillo until the bottom of the 6th. Kyle Oversteet doubled on 3-2 pitch to bring the perfect game and no-hit bid to en end. He struck out A.J. Kennedy swinging and then walked Buddy Reed.
Yohander Mendez was brought in to replace Bahr after the walk.
Bahr pitched 5.1 innings and threw 77 pitches – 50 of those for strikes.

M?ndez continues hit rehab assignment and pitched a scoreless inning, although the inherited runners scored the runs weren’t charged to him. He’s got a 1.23 earned run average.
His line: 1 IP, 2 H, 3 SO, 40 pitches, 20 for strikes.
Emerson Martinez: 1.2 IP, 1 SO, 5.05 earned run average.
Walker Weickel is finding his groove again and he pitched a scoreless inning. His ERA is back under 4 at 3.98.
Line-up
Andretty Cordero got the scoring started in the 1st with an RBI double to Center Fielder Taylor Trammell.
The line-up exploded for 6 runs in the top of the 3rd. There were 2 walks and then 6 consecutive singles; all with 2 outs.
There were quite a few Riders with multiple hits and only Eliezer Alvarez didn’t have a hit in the game.
Yonny Hernandez and Tony Sanchez each had 3 hits and each had an RBI.
The Riders aren’t out of the post-season picture. They are 1/2 game behind the Corpus Christi Hooks for the Wild Card and 3 1/2 games behind the Sod Poodles for the Division.
