Bubba Thompson named Express MVP

Bubba Thompson was recently named the season MVP for the 2022 Round Rock Express, the Texas Rangers' Triple-A affiliate. What's impressive is that he only played in 80 games with the Express. Despite playing in fewer games than some of his teammates, Bubba still put up impressive numbers and was a big part of the Express' success this season. Reunion Tower to display RoughRiders themed lights

The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, announced that Reunion Tower in Dallas will be displaying team-themed lights. This will honor the RoughRiders winning the Texas League Championship. They swept the San Antonio Missions in the Division Series and then the Wichita Wind Surge in the Championship Series. The 561-foot Reunion Tower will be displaying the lights tonight, September 28,  2022, from 730 PM-11 PM. This is a great way for the city to show their support

The Frisco RoughRiders are the 2022 Texas League Champions! They fought hard and came out on top against the Wichita Wind Surge, winning 7-5 in a 10-inning thriller. This is their first Championship title since 2004. The RoughRiders swept each of the Texas League South Division Series and then the Texas League Championship Series. Each was a best-of-three series. Texas Rangers prospect Thomas Saggese has been named the Texas League Player of the Week for his outstanding play from September 11th through September 18th.
