It’s officially official. The Frisco RoughRiders remain the Rangers AA affiliate. The Frisco RoughRiders have officially accepted the Texas Rangers invitation to be their Double A affiliate.
The MLB Professional Development License is good for 10 years with the Rangers. So we don’t have to wonder in a few years if the the RoughRiders will remain affiliated with the Rangers. This year especially, we’ll see very talented prospects take the field at Dr Pepper Ballpark.
