It's officially official. The Frisco RoughRiders remain the Rangers AA affiliate. The Frisco RoughRiders have officially accepted the Texas Rangers invitation to be their Double A affiliate.
The MLB Professional Development License is good for 10 years with the Rangers. So we don't have to wonder in a few years if the the RoughRiders will remain affiliated with the Rangers. This year especially, we'll see very talented prospects take the field at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

The Frisco RoughRiders 2021 staff was announced on Wednesday February 10, 2021 along with the coaching staffs of every other team in the farm. This off-season has been a busy one for the RoughRiders. As expected, the Round Rock Express rejoin the Texas Rangers as they accepted the invitation to become the Triple-A affiliate. The Round Rock Express is owned by the Nolan Ryan led group, Ryan Sanders Baseball.
