Forgive me for being late in reporting this but right-handed reliever DeMarcus Evans and left-handed starter Kolby Allard will be making noise, not music, in Nashville. The Texas Rangers also assigned more players to Double-A Frisco yesterday. DeMarcus Evans will be in Arlington at some point this season. Nashville Sounds ballpark has changed names
I am late on this news but the Nashville Sounds, the Texas Rangers Triple- A affiliate, are playing at the same ballpark but the name has changed. The new name is First Horizon Park formerly known as First Tennessee Park. To be clear, the only thing that has changed is the name. Probably not but lets hope the name change can help the Nashville Sounds improve on their 2019 record of 66-72.
Nick Solak makes his debut for the Texas Rangers
Nick Solak, 24, is someone that alot of Ranger fans are excited about and it's for good reason. Solak was acquired by the Rangers when they sent Peter Fairbanks (Pete from Accounting) to the Tampa Bay Rays. When I spoke with Nashville Sounds Play by Play man Jeff Hem last month about some prospects to keep an eye on there was no hesitation when he said Eli White. So when the Sounds came to Oklahoma City last week I made sure to connect with him. Eli willingly took time out of his preparation for the game that night to sit down for 10 minutes. Around the Farm 4/12/19 Thank you for joining Around the Farm once again! I fell short and did not release one for the games on April 11th. Working a full-time job and having 2 boys caught up with me and I crashed earlier than normal.
