Last night, the Frisco RoughRiders got timely hits and great pitching in their 6-0 victory over the San Antonio Missions. It was their eighth shutout of the season. Frisco's offense got it going early in the top of the 1st thanks to a solo shot from Dustin Harris. It was his team-leading 14th home run of the season. The RoughRiders line-up hit two home runs in Sunday's early afternoon game but it wasn't enough to lift them past the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). The Surprise Saguaros needed a win against the Desert Dogs to make it to the Arizona Fall League Championship game. The Surprise Saguaros move to 2-2 after losing 6-4 to the Desert Dogs. With this win the Desert Dogs move to 3-1. Right-hander James Marinan of the Cincinnati Reds got the start for the Saguaros and he faced off against right-hander Robinson Pina (Angels) for the Desert Dogs.
