Looking back at the RoughRiders 2022 season

As we kick off 2023, it seems like a good time to review the Frisco RoughRiders 2022 season. It was a Championship season. The RoughRiders finished the regular season with a 74-63 record. Frisco gets eighth shutout of the season

Last night, the Frisco RoughRiders got timely hits and great pitching in their 6-0 victory over the San Antonio Missions. It was their eighth shutout of the season. Frisco's offense got it going early in the top of the 1st thanks to a solo shot from Dustin Harris. It was his team-leading 14th home run of the season. RoughRiders lose 8-4 but win series against the Travelers

The RoughRiders line-up hit two home runs in Sunday's early afternoon game but it wasn't enough to lift them past the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). The RoughRiders lost 8-4 but won four games of the six game series. This is the first series in June the RoughRiders have won. Cody Bradford strikes outs season-high 11 batters

Frisco, TX- Left-hander Cody Bradford made his twelfth start of the season for the Frisco RoughRiders and 6,704 fans were in attendance to see him set a season-high with 11 strikeouts. A gametime temperature of 96 degrees didn't keep the a nice crowd- some from Wisconsin- from coming out to Riders Field and watching the Riders climb back over the .500 mark. You may not have heard Trey Hair's name mentioned much prior to this. He won't be listed on any of the Texas Rangers' top prospect lists but obviously he's got some power and that is mostly the reason we are writing about him. He's been on a tear this season. Despite the RoughRiders hitting four home runs and Trey Hair pulling off a hidden ball trick, the RoughRiders fell to the Hooks by a final of 9-5.
