Welcome to The Farm Report. This is a weekly series that will highlight performances for each team throughout the entire Texas Rangers farm system.

Week May 24-29

Triple-A Round Rock Express (29-19)

Round Rock went 3-3 against the Albuquerque Isotopes (Rockies).

Zach Reks, 28, hit a line of .550/.591/1.250/1.841 with 4 home runs, 9 RBI and 2 walks during this series.

For the season Reks is slashing .330/.410/.592/1.003 with 5 home runs along with 21 RBI in Triple-A Round Rock.

Bubba Thompson slashed a line of .421/.421/.947/1.369 against Albuquerque pitching. Two of his 8 hits went from triples and two were hit home runs. Thompson has been showing his speed and this series was no different. He stole 4 bases and has 25 stolen bags on the season.

RHP Cole Winn, the Rangers 3rd ranked prospect, pitched 6 innings. He only allowed one run on three hits, four walks and struckout a season-high nine batters.

For the season, Cole has a 4-0 win-loss record with a 5.31 earned run average in 42.1 innings 33 strikeouts and 27 walks.

RHP Josh Sborz, 28, made two appearances in this series and pitched 2.2 scoreless innings. He gave up two hits, one walk and struckout four.

Double-A Frisco RoughRiders (25-20)

Frisco split the series against the San Antonio Missions (Padres) going 3-3.

Offensive players of the week

Blaine Crim, 24, continues to do his thing. The Rangers 19th round pick in 2019 slashed a line of .421/.522/.842/1.364 at the plate with 2 home runs and 5 RBI.

Of course we have to mention, 2B Ezequiel Duran, who leads all of baseball with 21 doubles. He hit .368/.368/.684/1.053 with one home run, 4 RBI and 3 doubles.

Catcher Matt Whatley had a 2-HR game on Saturday May 28th, his 2nd multi HR game of his career.

Tai Tiedemann made two appearances in this series, pitching 2 scoreless innings each time. He allowed 2 hits and struckout 2 and earned his 1st save of the season on Sunday evening.

High-A Hickory Crawdads (27-18)

Hickory went 5-2 over the Winston-Salem Dash (White Sox).

SS Keyber Rodriguez hit .421/.476/.632/1.108 with a home run and 7 RBI. He worked two walks and stole a base.

2B Jayce Easley, hit 316/.435/.632/1.066 with 2 home runs with 6 RBI and worked 4 walks.

RHP Ben Anderson, 24, pitched 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. It was his longest outing of the year. Anderson has a 4-2 win-loss record on the season with a 3.03 earned run average.

LHP Destin Dotson, 22, made two appearances in this series pitching 3.2 scoreless innings. He walked 3 and struckout 3, earning a save in his appearance on May 24th.

Low-A Down East Wood Ducks (21-24)

Down East went 5-1 against Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Astros).

IF Cameron Cauley, 19, hit a line of .263/.364/.263/.627 at the plate. He had 3 RBI and worked 3 walks.

SS Maximo Acosta hit .353/.421/.412/.833 with 2 RBI, 2 walks and a double.

Winston Santos had a phenomenal outing, pitching 7 innings. He only allowed 1 run on 2 hits and struckout 10.

For the season Santos has a 2-0 win- loss record with a 3.75 earned run average in 36 innings with 40 strikeouts. Santos in one of the young pitchers on our radar. He should be on yours as well.

The Rangers called up Josh H. Smith prior to the game.
