The game resumed in the bottom of the 1st inning after being postponed on Tuesday. Adrian Sampson (7-2, 4.37) pitched 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, 2 walks, and 5 strikeouts, earning his 7th win of the season. The bullpen, consisting of Brock Burke, Daniel Robert, and Grant Wolfram, combined for four scoreless innings. Wolfram struck out the side in the 9th to earn his 2nd save.

Frisco RoughRiders Fall to the Hooks 4-8, Losing Streak at Two
The Frisco RoughRiders’ 9-game win streak ended last night, and they couldn’t regain their winning form today, losing 4-8 against the Hooks. They initially led 3-1 but lost the lead in the 5th inning when the Hooks scored 5 runs.

Liam Hicks (.272) went 3-4 with an RBI and a walk.- Frainyer Chavez (.253) went 2-3 with a walk and 2 stolen bases.
On the mound
Starter Ryan Garcia (4-3, 4.81) pitched 4.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits, 4 walks, and 3 strikeouts with 93 pitches (51 strikes).The RoughRiders move to 34-19.
Hickory Crawdads Shut Out the Drive 4-0 behind stellar start from Ryan Lobus
RHP Ryan Lobus (3-1, 1.99) continued his outstanding season, pitching 7 innings and allowing just 3 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 4 in the Crawdads’ 4-0 win. Combining his performances for both the Down East Wood Ducks and Crawdads, Lobus has an impressive 6-1 record with a 1.79 ERA.

- Sebastian Walcott raised his batting average to .208 with a 2-for-3 performance, including a 2-run HR.
- Anthony Gutierrez (.267) went 1-for-2 with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases.
