Banana Ball has grown from a single touring team into a six-team league that has filled MLB parks, NFL stadiums and college football venues. For anyone who has started following along, the 2026 regular season is over and the BBCL playoffs are underway, but the calendar stays busy this month. Here are the dates to know.

Oct. 10: Banana Bowl

The first Banana Bowl, the championship of the Banana Ball Championship League's inaugural season, will be played Saturday, Oct. 10, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., at 7 p.m. ET. It will air on Disney+ and Disney's YouTube channel, presented ad-free by Liberty Mutual.

The two playoff winners will meet for the title, and all six teams and their casts will be part of the event. The BBCL playoffs leading up to it continue through Sunday, Oct. 4, at Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah and stream on the Banana Ball YouTube channel.

Oct. 15: 2027 City Selection Show

The full 2027 tour schedule will be revealed during the 2027 City Selection Show, airing on ESPN2, the ESPN app, Disney+ and YouTube. This is where fans find out which cities and stadiums made the cut for next season.

Founder Jesse Cole has said on social media that the selection process comes down to one thing: what is best for the fans. Which cities and venues allow Banana Ball to reach more of them. According to Cole, more than 200 cities reached out with interest in hosting.

For fans in North Texas, I expect both Riders Field and Globe Life Field to be announced again. Frisco sold out two games at the start of the tour, when the Texas Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts played at Riders Field March 7-8. Arlington hosted the final regular-season weekend for the Bananas and Tailgaters, with three sold-out games at Globe Life Field Sept. 25-27.

Ticket lottery details for 2027 have not been announced yet. Fans can join the interest list at bananaball.com/tickets ahead of the show.

Oct. 28: 2027 Player Draft

The 2027 Player Draft will stream on the Banana Ball YouTube channel.

Last year's inaugural draft took place Nov. 13-14, 2025. Rounds 1-5 were streamed on YouTube on Nov. 13, and rounds 6-11 were announced on social media on Nov. 14. Before that draft, fans voted to protect three players per existing team, and coaches protected up to eight more.

Oct. 30: 2026 All-Star Game

The 2026 All-Star Game will be played Friday, Oct. 30, at Historic Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia, and will stream on the Banana Ball YouTube channel. The format is different from past years. Instead of an All-Star roster facing a college team, the Banana Ball All-Stars will take on a Future Stars roster made up of the league's newest players, who will represent their new teams for the first time.
