I miss baseball. You miss baseball. We all miss baseball.
The Rangers option Taylor Hearn and Scott Heineman to Triple-A Triple-A Nashville on what was supposed to be Opening Day.
Interesting move, but purely procedural. This does not impact their chances to make opening day roster. They can be recalled onto major league roster whenever season starts. https://t.co/mSYzKnMxCD

As Evan states, both could still make the Opening Day roster, whenever that may be. Evan explains it further in his article. In short, this is just a move made just in case of a transaction freeze. It may just makes things a little bit easier for the Rangers whenever it is decided that baseball is going to resume.
Spring 2020 stats
Taylor Hearn: 3.00 ERA in 6 IP, 2 BB, 7 SO
Scott Heineman: slashed .355/.429/.548
I’m not a betting man but if I was. I’d put money on both Hearn and Heineman playing in Arlington sometime if there is a season this year.
Update***
No more roster moves. When the MLB and MLBPA deal is ratified by MLB owners as expected tomorrow, a transaction freeze will be in place, source says. Sides will agree when it is lifted.
