Round Rock makes history with sixth win in a row

Last night’s game against the Salt Lake Bees made franchise history! It’s the first time in the Round Rock Express team history they have a six-game series sweep. They won by a final of 4-3.

On the mound

In his 1st appearance in a Express jersey right-hander, Wade Leblanc went five innings. He allowed three runs on five hits 5 and struckout eight.

Right-hander, Drew Anderson (3-1, 1.86) pitched three innings allowing only one hit and struckout six. Closer Joe Barlow is now a perfect 5-5 in saves opportunity after he pitched one inning with two strikeouts.

At the Plate

Eli White got the Express on board first with a single that brought in Leody Taveras in the 1st inning.

In the top of the 4th, Curtis Terry hit his team-leading eighth home run, a two-run shot that brought in Eli White.

In the top of the 7th, Anderson Tejeda, who singled prior stole 2nd base (8) and scored on a wild throw by the Bees catcher scoring the go-ahead run!
