The Texas Rangers named their minor league award winners for the Month of June. The RoughRiders have three of the four winners. On Strike Out Cancer night RHP Zak Kent (0-1, 5.23) opened for the Frisco RoughRiders this afternoon against RHP Julio Robaina (0-2, 9.90). RHP Justin Slaten followed. The RoughRiders got back into the win column with a 10-5 win against the Midland RockHounds. It was a huge offensive night for the bats in the Riders lineup as they got a season-high 17 hits. Not every RoughRider had a hit but everyone in the line-up got on base.
