Jose Trevino will get to share catching duties with Jeff Mathis while Robinson Chirinos is on the IL due to a right-ankle sprain. Chirinos' placement on the 10-day IL was retroactive to August 11th. The Texas Rangers have added two of their top pitching prospects to their 60-man player pool. They added right-handers Cole Winn and Ricky Vanasco and assigned them to the alternate training site. The Rangers really can't afford to stop their losing streak but that's exactly what happened on tonight with the roof open at Globe Life Field. The Mariners got the best of Rangers pitching and Ranger killer, Kyle Seager hit a grand slam. The final was 10-2 and the Rangers are now 6-9 with 45 games left to play.
