Andrew McKinley
Andrew grew up in Wyoming, eating, breathing, and living baseball. He joined the Army right out of high school, and spent 6 years doing computer nerd stuff for them. After that Andrew moved to downtown Chicago to complete his undergrad degree. He took in lots of Cubs and Sox games while there. Now Andrew and his wife live in downtown Dallas as he finishes his graduate degree.
Shakeup in the RoughRiders Lineup Wakes up the Bats
Did anyone else notice the bizarre lineup that the Riders put forward last night? It was perhaps the craziest lineup I have ever seen in my life. Completely randomized, or so it would appear. But, it is impossible to argue with the results. The Riders put up 5 runs, including 3 homers. Clearly whoever set the lineup last night needs to do it again tonight, because it paid off handsomely. It was a rough night at the ballpark for the RoughRiders last night. The Riders are currently battling for a first place finish to the first half of the season, and last night did not help their cause. Frisco started off good, with a single by De Leon up the middle, and then an RBI double down the 3rd base line. But from there, the wheels fell off so to speak, and they were unable to score again for the remainder of the game. A lot of free baseball was played last night in Frisco! Jonathan Hernandez pitched a gem and the RoughRiders pulled out a walk-off win in the bottom of the 12th inning last night. The first half of the game was an impressive pitchers duel. Hernandez for the Riders and Bukauskas for the Hooks both gave up only 2 hits over the first 4 innings.
