If you're a Banana Ball fan like we are, get ready, North Texas. Banana Ball revealed its 2027 schedule Thursday during its annual Selection Show, which aired at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and the Banana Ball YouTube channel. Both Globe Life Field and Riders Field made the list.
The Texas Tailgaters will host the Party Animals at Globe Life Field on April 10–11, then return to Riders Field in Frisco on Sept. 3–4 to face the Loco Beach Coconuts.

Arlington: Globe Life Field, April 10–11
- Matchup: Texas Tailgaters vs. Party Animals
- Dates: Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11
- Game times: Not yet announced
This is the second straight year Banana Ball has come to the home of the Rangers. The Savannah Bananas and Tailgaters played a three-game series at Globe Life Field in September. This time it comes early in the season, with a weekend series against the Party Animals.
Frisco: Riders Field, Sept. 3–4
- Matchup: Texas Tailgaters vs. Loco Beach Coconuts
- Dates: Friday, Sept. 3, and Saturday, Sept. 4
- Game times: Not yet announced
Frisco is on the tour for the third straight year. It's also a rematch: the Coconuts played the Tailgaters at Riders Field in March 2026. The 2027 games land on Labor Day weekend, the same spot on the calendar as Frisco's first Banana Ball stop in 2025.
The defending champs are coming
The Tailgaters will play both North Texas series as reigning champions. They beat the Savannah Bananas 2-1 in a Showdown at Nationals Park last weekend to win the 2026 Banana Bowl. Kyle Martin was named MVP after his two-run homer in the eighth.
How to get tickets
The 2027 ticket lottery is open now at bananaball.com/tickets and closes October 31, 2026. Entering doesn't guarantee tickets. Fans who are drawn get a window to buy, and in past years that window opened about two months before each event. Tickets sell out rather quickly.
More Texas dates
Frisco and Arlington aren't the only Texas stops. The Tailgaters will play 22 dates in 11 Texas cities in 2027, including two series against the Bananas, in Houston and San Antonio.
