Banana Ball fans in Texas hit the jackpot. The Texas Tailgaters will play 11 of their 13 home series in Texas in 2027. That's 22 dates in 11 cities, from Midland in early March to the Alamodome in San Antonio in mid-September.
They'll do it as defending champions. The Tailgaters beat the Savannah Bananas 2-1 in a Showdown at Nationals Park earlier this month to win the 2026 Banana Bowl, and Kyle Martin was named MVP after his two-run homer in the eighth. The Bananas come to Texas twice in 2027, in Houston (May 22–23) and San Antonio (Sept. 10–11), giving Texas fans two chances at a Banana Bowl rematch.
Three of the 11 Texas stops are football stadiums: McLane Stadium in Waco, NRG Stadium in Houston and the Alamodome. The rest are at Texas minor league parks, plus Globe Life Field in Arlington.

Spring offers the most chances to catch a game, with seven of the 11 Texas series falling between early March and late May. And the Texas schedule ends at its biggest venue, with a Banana Bowl rematch against the Bananas at the Alamodome.
Banana Ball 360 to debut
The June 26 game at Notre Dame Stadium is the only Banana Ball 360 game on the 2027 schedule. Two fields are set up in opposite corners of the stadium, and the teams switch fields each inning so fans everywhere get a view near home plate. The Tailgaters and Bananas will be the first teams to play it.
