Rangers finalize their affiliate coaching staffs

The Texas Rangers finalized each of their Minor-League affiliate coaching staffs for the 2022 season. These are the coaching staffs that will lead the prospects at least for the next season. The Rangers farm is currently the 11th ranked farm system in MLB.

Triple-A Round Rock

  • Manager: Matt Hagen will be making his Triple-A managerial debut.
  • Pitching coach: Bill Simas
  • Hitting coach: Matt Lawson
  • Bench Coach: Chase Lambin
  • Athletic Trainer: Carlos Olivas
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach: Wade Lamont
  • Development Coach: Josh Johnson

Double-A Frisco RoughRiders

  • Manager: Jared Goedert comes back for his 2nd season.
  • Pitching Coach: Jeff Andrews
  • Hitting Coach: Eric Dorton
  • Developmental Coaches: Chad Comer and Avery Sullivan.
  • Athletic Trainer: Yuichi Takizawa
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach: Jon Nazarko

Goedert returns for his 2nd consecutive season. In his managerial debut, he guided the RoughRiders to a 1st place finish in the Double-A Central South Division with a 64-55 record.

High-A Hickory Crawdads

  • Manager: Carlos Cardoza
  • Pitching Coach: Jon Goebel
  • Hitting Coach: Ryan Tuntland
