The Texas Rangers have promoted two-way players Seong-Jun Kim and Josh Owens to the Hickory Crawdads.
Seong-Jun Kim
With the ACL Rangers, Kim slashed .303/.419/.546/.964 with 7 home runs and 34 RBI. On the mound, he posted a 1.04 ERA in 8.2 innings with 5 walks and 10 strikeouts.
The Rangers signed Kim as a international free agent on May 19, 2025.
Josh Owens
With the ACL Rangers, Owens slashed .255/.345/.469/.814 with 9 home runs and 36 RBI. On the mound, he posted a 3.48 ERA in 20.2 innings with 7 walks and 24 strikeouts. Owens was the Rangers' 3rd round pick in 2025. The RHP/SS has been productive on the mound and at the plate.
The Rangers have limited innings for both players, but each has been effective in his time on the mound.
