The Surprise Saguaros needed a win against the Desert Dogs to make it to the Arizona Fall League Championship game. Surprise Saguaros lose two in row to the Desert Dogs

The Surprise Saguaros (13-7) have been playing winning baseball except for the last two games they've played against the Glendale Desert Dogs (12-8) who now sit one game behind the Saguaros. Saguaros look to end 2-game losing streak

The Saguaros are the hottest team in the Arizona Fall League and that doesn't change after losing 8-3 to the Scorpions (6-11) on Monday to move to 12-4. The Suprise Saguaros continue their dominance of the Arizona Fall League and have now won six games in a row. The Solar Sox made it interesting but the Saguaros held on to win by a final of 10-9 at Sloan Park in front of a crowd of 401. The Surprise Saguaros have dominated the Arizona Fall League so far. The won in walk-off fashion against the Rafters by a final of 8-7 and move to 10-3. Foscue helps 1st place Saguaros win 11-2 over the Scorpions

Justin Foscue helped the Saguaros win 11-2 over the Scorpions. Foscue, the Texas Rangers 4th ranked prospect, finished 3-6 with a home run and 4 RBI. The home run was his 2nd during the Fall League. The Surprise Saguaros move to 2-2 after losing 6-4 to the Desert Dogs. With this win the Desert Dogs move to 3-1. Right-hander James Marinan of the Cincinnati Reds got the start for the Saguaros and he faced off against right-hander Robinson Pina (Angels) for the Desert Dogs. Right-hander Tim Brennan (0-1, 20.25) of the Texas Rangers was the first out of the pen for the Saguaros and ultimately was tagged with the loss. Surprise Saguaros lose their 1st game

It took the Surprise Saguaros three games into the Arizona Fall League season to lose their 1st game. They lost by a final of 9-3 to the Solar Sox and move to 2-1 with 27 games left to play. Right-hander Jeff Criswell, one of the Oakland Athletics pitching prospects got the start for the Solar Sox and earned the win. He allowed two runs on three hits, one walk, and struck out five batters in 3.2 innings pitched. The pitching staff as a whole for the Solar Sox issued 9 walks and struckout 11.

Owen White's strong start help Saguaros move to 2-0

The Surprise Saguaros moved to 2-0 in the young season of the Arizona Fall League with their 1-0 win over the Rafters. It was in part thanks to the strong start by Rangers pitching prospect Owen White, a right-hander drafted in the 2nd round of the 2018 draft. The Surprise Saguaros won 5-0 over the Mesa Solar Sox in the first game of the Arizona Fall League season. Each team is set to play a 30-game schedule.
