The Frisco RoughRiders season comes down to their final game. They won 5-3 over the Amarillo Sod Poodles thanks to a timely rally including a fielding error and moved to 64-54 on the season. Right-hander Ronny Henriquez started on the mound for the RoughRiders against rifht-hander Ryne Nelson for the Sod Poodles. The RoughRiders lose 15-1 to the Amarillo Sod Poodles and move to 56-41 on the season with 23 games left to play. This really is going to be a shorter recap just because the score was so lopsided and no one wants to read a long recap about a 15-1 loss. Instead, let's highlight a few positives. Zak Kent solid but RoughRiders lose on 80's night
Frisco, Texas- A crowd of 9,062 fans filled the seats at Riders Field on 80's night. Unfortunately, the RoughRiders lost 2-1 to the Travelers in what turned out to be a rather low-scoring affair. On the mound Right-hander Zak Kent took the mound for the RoughRiders. It was his home debut and he didn't disappoint. He pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 walks and striking out 7.
