A crowd of 5,404 witnessed the Round Rock Express (15-8) win their fifth game in a row by a final score of 8-6. On the mound Collin Wiles (3.54) didn’t have his best stuff today going 5 innings. For the 2nd time in a row the Round Rock Express (14-8) rallied late coming back from a 4-0 deficit to win by a final of 10-5! This brings their win streak to four games. On the mound Luis Ortiz started for the Express going 2 innings giving up just 1 hit and striking out 2 on 30 pitches, 21 of those for strikes. Round Rock’s outfielder, Jason Martin and Hickory’s right-hander Zak Kent were named Texas Rangers Minor-League Players of the week! Jason Martin appeared in six Express games and hit .333 (6-18) including a double, four home runs, eight RBI and five runs scored.
