Mitch Bratt has been named to team Canada for the upcoming World Baseball Classic. Bratt,19, is a left-handed pitching prospect in the Texas Rangers farm system. Scott Burchett is likely a familiar name to many Rangers and RoughRider fans for a couple of reasons. Frist, is because Burchett is entering his 19th season as an employee with the Frisco RoughRiders and most recently served as their COO and is now taking over the GM role. Second, Scott's dad, Dave Burchett, used to be the Rangers Director of Broadcast for 37 years until his retirement in 2019. So there is definitely a family history of working in baseball.
