MLB- Texas Rangers
Rangers get four Prospects for Gallo in trade
The Texas Rangers get four prospects from the Yankees for Joey Gallo. None of them were the top 10 prospects in the Yankees system to start the season but the Rankings have since been updated and you might be surprised. Initial reports indicated the Yankees were sending the Rangers 6 prospects for Gallo. They were initially reported to be: Trevor Hauver, Glenn Otto, Ezequiel Duran, Everson Pereira, Randy Vasquez and Josh Smith. However, that was since revised to these four: RHP Glenn Otto, 2B
Rangers reach agreement with Jack Leiter
Good news for Ranger fans. It was reported by Levi Weaver that the Rangers have reached an agreement with their 1st round pick, Jack Leiter. As you can see by the Levi's tweet, they've also reached an agreement with their 2nd round pick Aaron Zavala. This news is exciting for fans especially on the heels on the Rangers prior 12-game losing streak. It has been reported that Leiter's bonus is for $7.9 million which is just shy of the record set by Gerrit Cole's $8 Million bonus with the Pirat
Curtis Terry making his MLB debut
Curtis Terry is making his MLB debut as I write this. It is a well-deserved promotion for Terry who has been lighting up opposing pitchers in Triple-A Round Rock. The promotion of Curtis Terry, 24, makes perfect sense for right now for the Rangers. He was going to have to be protected this winter by being added to the 40-man roster and the team has been struggling, losing 9 games in a row. Through 65 games with Triple-A Round Rock he has slashed a line of .294/.375/.583/.958 with 17 home runs

Springfield Cardinals at Frisco RoughRiders July 13-18
The Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of, you guessed it....the St Louis Cardinals are in town at Riders Field to start a new six-game series against the Frisco RoughRiders. They bring along their 22-38 record which is good for last place (5th) in the Double-A Central North. They have a 6-4 record in the their last 10-games with a two-game losing streak. The RoughRiders still maintain their hold on first place but they're on the wrong end of a streak with a three-game losing streak.
Texas Rangers select Jack Leiter with # 2 pick in 2021 draft
The Texas Rangers selected Jack Leiter, with their number two overall pick in the 2021 draft. Jack Leiter, a starting pitcher out of Vanderbilt University instantly becomes the Texas Rangers # 1 overall prospect, knocking Josh Jung down one. With the selection of Leiter, the Rangers have selected a college player with each of their first round picks in the last three drafts. Leiter, 21, is a right-handed pitcher out of Vanderbilt University. He was pretty dominant to say the least. He made 18 s
RoughRiders win 8-0, snap 3 game losing streak
We knew the losing streak wouldn't last much longer. The RoughRiders are back in the win column after losing 3-games in a row. They won by a final of 8-0 over the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). They move to 37-20 on the season while the Travelers move to 29-27. On the mound Right-hander Noah Bremer, was just activated from the IL and made his 1st start of the season, replacing Cole Winn who was originally scheduled to pitch. Bats Stay Silent, Express Fall 9-3 To Sugar Land
Round Rock, TX - Powered by an offense that banged out 12 hits and a workmanship effort from four pitchers the Sugar Land Skeeters hammered the Round Rock Express for the second straight night, Monday by a score of 9-3. On a night when all but one Skeeter scored, the Express managed only four hits. Southpaw reliever James Jones (2-2, 7.07), the 2nd of 5 Express pitchers, took the loss for Round Rock. Former Express righty Colin McKee (2-1) picked up the win for Sugar Land. With the loss, Round
