This was the first time this season they have played a series against the Cardinals this season. Despite getting shut out 3-0 today Frisco took two out of three games from the Arkansas Travelers since starting back up after the allstar break. Last night, the Frisco RoughRiders got timely hits and great pitching in their 6-0 victory over the San Antonio Missions. It was their eighth shutout of the season. There was a few firsts for the Hickory Crawdads last night. For the 1st time since throwing a no hitter against Delmarva on May 19, 2013, Hickory threw a combined 10 inning no-hitter. Last nights game was played almost in San Antonio in 101 degrees at gametime and went into extra innings where Frisco scored 4 runs in the 12th inning and held on for a 10-7 win.
