Frisco, Texas– The 5th game featured Cal against Mississippi State. In the Classic, California is 1-1 and Mississippi is 0-2, so they’ll look to get back in the win column.
The weather is an absolute perfect 70 degrees at game time.

Ledbetter advanced to 3rd on a throwing error and scored an unearned run.
California State got a run back in the bottom of the 1st from an RBI-double off the bat of Peyton Schulze.

Kellum Clark hit a no-doubt two-run HR in the top of the 8th to give Mississippi State some insurance runs.
Nate Dohm, dominated Cal’s line-up out of the pen and earned the win for Mississippi. He pitched 5 shutout innings, allowing just one hit, one walk and six strikeouts on 67 pitches. No doubt, the performance of the weekend ou5 of the pen. He made my All-Tournament team.
