The RoughRiders lose 15-1 to the Amarillo Sod Poodles and move to 56-41 on the season with 23 games left to play. There were 4,286 fans that filled Hodgetown and witnessed the RoughRiders hit a season-high 6-home runs to help fuel their 10-3 victory over the Sod Poodles. Frisco, Texas- A crowd of 9,062 fans filled the seats at Riders Field on 80's night. Unfortunately, the RoughRiders lost 2-1 to the Travelers in what turned out to be a rather low-scoring affair. Blaine Crim was promoted, homered and the RoughRiders won 7-5 over the Amarillo Sod Poodles and added another game into the win column for the 48th time this season. Blaine Crim was promoted to Double-A Frisco and was promptly inserted into the line-up as the DH. Crim continued to do what he's been doing in High-A Hickory; he homered in the bottom of the 7th. Springfield Cardinals at Frisco RoughRiders July 13-18
The Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of, you guessed it....the St Louis Cardinals are in town at Riders Field to start a new six-game series against the Frisco RoughRiders. They bring along their 22-38 record which is good for last place (5th) in the Double-A Central North. They have a 6-4 record in the their last 10-games with a two-game losing streak. The RoughRiders still maintain their hold on first place but they're on the wrong end of a streak with a three-game losing streak.

We knew the losing streak wouldn't last much longer. The RoughRiders are back in the win column after losing 3-games in a row. They won by a final of 8-0 over the Arkansas Travelers (Mariners). They move to 37-20 on the season while the Travelers move to 29-27. On the mound Right-hander Noah Bremer, was just activated from the IL and made his 1st start of the season, replacing Cole Winn who was originally scheduled to pitch. The RoughRiders have won 10 games in a row. That's something that isn't easy to do but yet they've done it. They won by a final of 4-3 and swept the series against the San Antonio Missions (Padres). Hans Crouse started for the RoughRiders and pitched one inning. He walked CJ Abrams and then gave up a two-run home run on a 2-2 pitch to Eguy Rosario, who had the interference called against him in the Riders 5-4 walk-off win on Saturday. The Frisco RoughRiders have won their third straight game against the Hooks by a final of 7-5. With this win they move to 25-16 and hold onto first place with a two game lead over the San Antonio Missions. On the mound Right-handed pitcher, Ronny Henriquez (0-0, 12.15) got his first Double-A start. He pitched 3.2 innings and allowed five runs on six hits, including two home runs. He issued three walks and struckout three. Blake Bass (4-0, 3.05) replaced Henriquez in the bottom of the fourth.
Riders split the series with the Naturals
The Naturals came into the series with a record of 13-14 and the Frisco RoughRiders had a record of 18-11. You can read the series preview here.
