The Double-A Frisco RoughRiders have won three in a row after their 6-1 over the San Antonio Missions on Sunday. They move to 12-5 on the year and won five games of the six-game series. On the mound A.J. Alexy (1.13) and Sal Mendez combined for five innings of no-hit ball. Alexy pitched three hitless innings and struck out three. Mission accomplished: Hans Crouse AA debut
One of the Texas Rangers top pitching prospects, right-hander Hans Crouse made his AA debut for the Frisco RoughRiders. I am a big fan and have been since he was drafted in 2017's 2nd round by my favorite team! The RoughRiders only managed to get one hit. However, that was all that was needed- thanks to some stellar pitching. They won this game by a final of 1-0 and move to 8-4 on the season and extend their win streak to two games. What's in store for the RoughRiders as they head to Nelson W. Wolff Stadium in San Antonio for their first series on the road against the Missions? We'll go over some of each team's numbers and some of what can be expected. To start, I believe we will see Hans Crouse take the mound soon in some capacity.
