Hickory Crawdads 2021 roster
The Rangers announced the High-A Hickory Crawdads 2021 roster today, although the Crawdada announced it on the 27th. It's not surprising that the Crawdads have a nice group of prospects that have a bright future ahead of them. Here shortly, we'll see these guys chasing their dreams as fans fill the ballparks after more about a year and a half without baseball. Who better to start a day game for the Rangers alternate site than Day Game Wes Benjamin? The left-hander threw four shutout innings, allowing only one hit, one walk and racking up four strikeouts. Of course it was only a two-game series but it's not every day that Rangers fans get to see the words 'Rangers' and 'Sweep' in the same sentence with the Rangers doing the sweeping. Rangers Alternate training site squad drop game one
The exhibition games have started for the Rangers alternate training site squad. Round Rock Express season ticket holders were at the Diamond to watch them play. The Rangers dropped the first game against the Astros Alternate Training Site squad. The Rangers starting lineup featured a couple of the Rangers top prospects including Anderson Tejeda, who made his MLB debut last year and power-hitting 1st baseman Curtis Terry.
