The 2023 season started with promise and admiration around the fan base until , Jacob DeGrom is lost to Tommy John , Eovaldi’s stint on IL , and now Rangers trade acquisition from the deadline Max Scherzer’s season ending Injury, how will the rest of the season pan out?

Josh Jung is close to returning to the diamond, a rehab stint in the minors is a high chance before returning to the Majors. Jonah Heim getting back from injury and batting very well is just what the team needs. Adolis Garcia has no time to return but, in his place Rangers top prospect Evan Carter has been called up and shown flashes of great potential.

Eovaldi has been on a pitch count his last couple of starts and , hopefully he’s ready to take on the task and return to pre All star form for a much needed rotation. Manager Bruce Bochy has his hands full with decisions as in Bullpen placement, starting rotation, and how to take the Pennant from the Astros, now being 1 game back and holding sole possession of the second wildcard spot in the AL, it’s all open road from here. There are 16 games left in the regular season and it all comes down to this. Can the Texas Rangers overcome the losses and push into October with a pennant? There is only one way to find out!
