Hickory Crawdads: lineup Stifled in 6-1 Loss
In baseball you’re only as good as the next days pitcher! After exploding for 8 runs in their first 3 innings the previous night, the Hickory Crawdads’ lineup was held in check, managing just 1 run in a 6-1 loss to the Charleston RiverDogs at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Ballpark.
Lone Run in the 7th
The Crawdads scored their only run in the 7th inning when Hector Osorio hit an RBI single, driving in Esteban Mejia to make the score 4-1 but the RiverDogs tacked on two more runs in the 8th. The team was limited to 5 hits overall, with Osorio hitting 2 of them.
